I do! It’s really enjoyable and I really love passing on my enthusiasm and love of science to other people!

Yeah! It’s cool to see young people getting excited about science and technology. That’s why I wanted to do ‘I’m a scientist’.
I also think that scientists have a responsibility to share there results not only with other scientists but also everyone else. A lot of what we do might be quite complex, but most of it can be explained quite easily to anyone!
I try and do at least one STEM activity a year, more if my time permits. You guys are going to be the next generation of scientist so the more we can do to help the better. We often get involved in a 10 week program for schools called Go4Set where a team of 6 12-13 year old students complete a project and end up presenting it to a panel of judges. The best 3 schools in each area win prizes and gives you great experience working as a team.
I love it! It’s great passing on my knowledge but also seeing the different ways that people think about things. Young scientists always have new and interesting perspectives on things, and it means that I get to learn things too
