      I would really like to go into some Biochemistry for cancer research, but that might not be different enough to my current field to count!

      Yes I do! I really enjoy any opportunity to collaborate with other scientists to learn more or find new applications for the stuff I’m working on.
      I am really interested in bioinorganic chemistry (this is what i did my PhD in). It is understanding the role of metals in biology and how we can use them for things like treating cancer. The drug cisplatin in a platinum based drug which is really good at treating testicular cancer where it has helped increase cure rates from 10% to 85%!

      Hi Georgia! Yes I do like working in other fields,. Actually, what is exciting in my research area is that I end up working with people from very different areas: chemists (of course!), biologists, physicists, archaeologists, environmental scientists…
