• Question: if you could take up any other scientific profession, what would it be and why ?

      Cancer researcher. No shadow of a doubt, since it’s what I want to go into anyway! This might be a cheat answer.

      That aside I think I’d like to be a robotics engineer – it’s nothing like my skill set at the moment so I’d need to fully retrain, but I find coding and robotics incredibly interesting!

      Probably some form of engineering – I like how you can really relate it to things in everyday life.
      Alternatively science journalism – I love writing!

      I think I would become a material scientist, so instead of making the materials, I would look at using the materials in different applications.
