Aside from persuading governments to take more dramatic measures to meet goals for zero emissions etc it is important that we all try to lower our carbon footprints. Ways we can do this personally are to eat less meat, fly less, recycle more and to use public transport.

As Georgia says, Recycling, eating less meat (and imported food in general), more ethical travel are all really important aspects. In terms of habitats it’s good to avoid Palm oil, as this is a material which is taken from trees in the rainforest, and also buying smaller houses/house sharing. A lot of UK habitats are being destroyed to make way for housing – so having roommates (like Georgia and I do, I think) – is also a rally good move!
