Hey, Georgia. My overall aim is to go into Cancer Research, however I didn’t have enough biology experience to go straight into that. So Organic Chemistry is the field which most closely resembles the types of skills I’ll need in Cancer Research, and it’s also incredibly interesting! My plan is to go back to university and study some biology and hopefully move over to a position with cancer research in a few years! I am really glad that I’ve had this experience with big scale production, even if it isn’t where I want to end up forever!

Hi Georgia! It was my chemistry teacher at high school! I remember his first lecture started by “Chemistry is everywhere around you! Your tooth paste is chemistry, your plastic pen is chemistry, the dyes on your clothes is chemistry…..” he went on and on and on for few minutes. I think he made me fall in love with chemistry and organic chemistry in particular.
