I like oxygen – sometimes I feel I just couldn’t live without it.

But also it’s what allows things to burn which is useful.

Hi Grace! At the moment I would say Carbon. It is everywhere! What is yours?

Probably Iron – there is so much of it on earth that biology has found some cool uses for it, like transporting oxygen around the body. Some bacteria make nanoparticles of iron which means they can align themselves with magnetic fields.. and we can control them with magnets!
Look at this video of line dancing magnetic bacteria (magnetosomes)! https://youtu.be/3uUL4ooM6KI
