Question: when you give your prize money to the outreach programme, do you see this money come back and affect your work or is it used in the wider community?

  The outreach program is something that the chemistry department I work in does, and I occasionally do work with as well. They do things like giving the opportunity for local schools to come and do chemistry in real working chemistry labs, as well as some cool demonstrations.
  
  So yeah, I’ll directly see the effect of the money!
