Hi! Good question! I guess it is because, as a child, I liked mixing stuff. My mum used to let me play with water and oil and it fascinated me that depending on the temperature the oil could be liquid or solid and when I was mixing the 2 it would look different. Are you interested in being a scientist?

Hey! It just always really interested me to figure out how and why things work the way they do and science is the best way to continue doing that! It’s just so interesting and no 2 days are ever the same!

Science is something I genuinely find interesting (not all of it but definitely the bits I’m working on). Some people don’t enjoy their jobs but I actually look forward to coming into the lab every day. My favourite thing is that every day is different and when I have to find new ways to make new chemicals I can be quite creative.Growing up, I really wanted to be a vet – I even started to write my university application to study veterinary science. At A-level I had to study chemistry to apply for vet school but I ended up loving chemistry so much that I decided to change my university application to chemistry!
