Question: would you ever research for a different condition like dementia or diabetes?

Oh absolutely! Both of those are actually causes which are very close to my heart. Cancer Research is my primary goal largely because I have already worked in that field and developed a knowledge base and vested interest, but if I saw a research job for finding ways of artificially synthesising insulin in the body or designing a drug to target dementia I would 100% join that cause!
