In a lot of ways Plant Cells are actually a little better designed! For example, most plant cells have a thing called a “Cell wall” which surrounds the outside fo the cell, this has a few functions, but the most useful is that it stops cells taking in too much water and bursting. Animal cells don’t have this, which is why your hands can go all wrinkly and pruney if you stay in the bath for an hour, but flowers can sit in water for days and not really change!

As Aimee said, a difference between plant cells and animal cells is that plant cells have a rigid cell wall that surrounds the cell membrane and animal cells do not have a cell wall. Plant cells are therefore a bit better.
Did you now that most animal cells are round whereas most plant cells are rectangular?
