This is a really good question! A lot of the problem is that it doesn’t suit big businesses like BP and Coca Cola for climate change initiatives to go through because it means they make less profit. These companies are so big and powerful that without them signing on to some emissions reduction not much improvement will be made. So I think the biggest things we can do is boycott companies who aren’t making an effort to reduce their carbon footprint.

      Also recycling.

I think we need to pressure governments to make tough laws to make companies (and also people) reduce their carbon emissions etc. We also need to invest in green technology. As an individual reducing your meat consumption and using planes and cars less has a big impact on reducing your carbon footprint.

I think we need to educate people on what exactly is happening and how it will affect each of us. That will encourage people to make better decisions about their actions towards the environment. I think too many people currently feel like it’s an issue that doesn’t affect them!
