• Question: in france, do you call the elements or substances differently? like you would say bonjour which means hello!

      Hi Phoebe, that’s a very good question! Some elements are the same but some are different. For example, helium in English is also helium in French but nitrogen in English is azote in French. It can be sometimes a bit confusing (particularly when I am tired).
      It is the same “problem” with substances. Some are the same and some are different.
