This is an interesting question. I dont think thst science itself has caused global warming, but implementation of new technologies definitely has.
However science has also given us things like medicines, vaccinations and electricity which have improved quality of life and extended life expectancy. Should we give this up?
I think at this point we should be channeling a lot of effort into using science to help solve and understand the climate crisis. I believe that scientists have an incredibly important role to play in developing green technologies etc and protecting our planet.

I think science will help solve the global warming situation but I don’t believe science caused it. I believe us as a species are causing it due to our wants and needs to develop. We need to change our behaviours and attitude towards things and that will help stop what we are doing to the planet.

I’m not sure I agree with you that Science is what caused Global warming – science came up with cars and things of course, but it was humanity’s rampant overuse of that which actually caused the problems. But I definitely think science is the only thing which has a chance of stopping or even reversing global warming, so stepping away at this point would definitely be irresponsible!
