• Question: Out of all of your qualifications, which one was the most difficult to achieve and nhwta area of chemistry did you find most interesting?

      I think that for me the most difficult exam I had was “statistics”. In chemistry, the most interesting for me is organic chemistry where you make reactions between molecules. On the the paper it is like playing with lego and in the lab it is cool to mix chemicals like two liquids and obtain solid crystals.

      My PhD has 100% been the most difficult qualification I’ve done. My favourite area of chemistry is bioorganic chemistry- the chemistry of enzymes and living things. I wanted to do medicine when I was younger and I did medicinal chemistry as an undergraduate degree because I’m fascinated how drugs are made and affect the body. My least favourite was physical chemistry- me and maths don’t get on very well…
