I know it’s not technically a rock, but I think Bismuth is pretty!

Igneous rock – To think something came out of a volcano and then formed is exciting. To melt rock, you need to be at some very high temperatures indeed.

I like stone tools like hand axes that have been made by prehistoric people. When you hold them in your hands you can think that it was made by someone thousands of years ago. Did you ever had one in your hands? Some museums let you touch few specimens.
I also like fossils. They are stones but with VERY OLD animals or plants trapped in them.

Fossils are cool. I also like sparkly rocks, and the pretty ones you pick up on the beach that are lovely colours (I got a gorgeous orange one this week in Scarborough)
