      This is an example of scientists proposing a theory and then disproving it and coming up with a better one. This is how scientists work!
      This theory says that you need something for the waves of light to travel through, but later scientists found that this wasn’t actually true. This is explained by quantum mechanics. https://youtu.be/Q_h4IoPJXZw This video explains it a bit.

      Oft what a question! You’re clearly very good at keeping up with the scientific community! I think it was a cool theory, and I can see where the thought process was coming from – but ultimately I can also see where the flaws came from and how it’s now been disproved! It’s one of the cool things about science – it’s always adaptable to the most up to date knowledge and we have to always be ready to throw away our incorrect assumptions!
