• Question: what would you do with the prize money and would you give any to charity and what do you spend your money on/wage?

      If I got the prize money I would be using it to design and build a more exciting chemistry outreach program from my company! Currently most of what we do is with things we can pick up from asda – I want something bigger and better!

      I would like to run some outreach events for rural primary schools. The money has to be spent on outreach so I don’t think it can be donated to charity.

      I spend my wage on the normal stuff! Rent, food, gym, the occasional holiday.. and netflix!

      I plan to use the prize money to organise a day trip to our facility for a local school. They can have a look around the labs and the plant area and hopefully get to see some real chemistry on a large scale.
